Amaltas Khan studied Mechanical Engineering, and Product Design from IIITDM Jabalpur with a student exchange project at IAD, TU Darmstadt. He received his doctorate from Design Discipline, IIITDM Jabalpur where his research contributions were focused on design interventions to reduce food packaging discards along with Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. After consulting a few design organizations and co-founding Wollof Design Studio, he joined NID Andhra Pradesh in 2017 contributing as a faculty and is presently the coordinator for Industrial Design Discipline.
